Course Content

The emphasis on this class will be on cardiovascular fitness. Cardiovascular endurance will be enhanced through the application of sport activities that require continuous physical effort. Information will be provided on anatomy, nutrtion, the basic principles of workout design and the assessment of training results. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to plan and apply and effective cardiovascular training program fr lifelong fitness.

Be dressed down everyday (responsibility)
       Work Hard! (effort)
       Display positive sportsmanship at all times (attitude)
       Be on time (punctuallity)

Southridge PE t-shirt, required, to be purchased, $5
Shorts, navy blue, can be purchased, $8. Sweat pants (navy) are okay too.
Gym shoes are to be laced and tied. The more support, the better. Sandals,flip-flops, and shoes with heels are unacceptable for reasons of safety and performance.
